The challenge
Growth had left the group running fragmented systems across finance, manufacturing, and supply chain. Consolidating onto a common ERP core was essential — but a conventional big-bang migration would have meant freezing change across the business for months, an operational risk the group couldn't accept.
Our approach
Consultionz owned the architecture and business analysis end-to-end. Discovery mapped every process and integration touchpoint before any design decision was made, so the migration sequence followed the business's real dependencies rather than the vendor's default playbook.
The integration layer was built event-driven on Azure Service Bus, decoupling systems so each area could migrate on its own timeline while the rest of the business kept moving. Expense management went live group-wide on SAP Concur as part of the same programme.
Why it worked
Because analysis led the architecture: every design decision traced back to a documented business requirement, and every stakeholder knew what was changing, when, and why. No programme-wide freeze was ever needed.
Outcomes
- No programme-wide freeze at any point — operational continuity and revenue protected throughout
- Event-driven integration live on Azure Service Bus
- SAP Concur rolled out group-wide
